CO2 Bag - Original, XXL

The CO2 Bag Original XXL releases carbon dioxide into the air in enclosed growing areas. Plants use CO₂ for photosynthesis; an insufficient supply can limit growth.

Application:

• Start using the bag 2–3 weeks after sowing.
• Pierce six holes in the top of the bag.
• Hang the bag above the plants; in large greenhouses, preferably above the aisles.
• CO₂ production starts only at temperatures above 18 °C and may take a few days to begin.

Growing notes:

With additional CO₂, plants can tolerate temperatures around 3–5 °C higher. Their demand for water, nutrients and light also increases. These factors must be supplied adequately to make effective use of the additional CO₂.

Storage:

Store the sealed bag below 18 °C in a cool, dry place. CO₂ production begins once the contents come into contact with oxygen.
