Dispense liquid from canisters with control
The cap tap listed here is described for 5 and 10 litre canisters and includes a vent. It helps dispense liquid into a separate vessel. This is useful when preparing nutrient solutions regularly from larger fertiliser containers.
Check the canister connection first
Canister capacity alone does not guarantee a matching connection. Compare the opening, thread and closure of your canister with the tap's specifications. Also check suitability for the liquid you intend to dispense. The size designation does not establish universal compatibility with every canister or concentrate.
Combine dispensing with a measuring tool
Position the canister securely and have a suitable measuring vessel ready. The tap controls the flow but does not replace a dosing scale. Measure the dispensed amount before adding it to the nutrient solution. Close the tap after use and keep the connection and outlet clean. Continue to follow the storage instructions on the label of the canister's contents.
