Light hangers for adjustable lighting
As plants get taller or you need room for maintenance, a height-adjustable light is easier to reposition. Easy Rolls and Rope Ratchets hold the selected position using different mechanisms. The right hanger depends on your light’s weight, its attachment points and the available adjustment range.
Easy Rolls or Rope Ratchets?
Easy Rolls come as a set of two retractable light hangers, allowing you to move the fixture to the required height and secure it. The Rope Ratchet set uses a rope-locking mechanism; a push button releases it for lowering. The set contains two ratchets, four carabiner clips and two 1.8 m ropes.
Include the full suspended weight
Count any driver or reflector suspended alongside the light. Check the permitted load of the hangers and the tent frame or ceiling attachment. Note whether a load rating applies to one hanger or a pair. Two hangers do not automatically provide twice the usable capacity when the load is uneven.
Also allow space for the fixings between the frame and the light. The rope length is not the same as the usable height adjustment inside the tent. Set the distance from the plants according to the instructions for your light.
