Choose a sprayer by capacity and handling
A few individual leaves call for different equipment from a longer watering round in the garden. Compare capacity, operation and the areas you need to reach. A larger container reduces refilling but also weighs more when full. What matters is how you want to carry and direct the device.
Trigger sprayer or pressure sprayer?
The Birchmeier Foxy Plus has a 0.5-litre container with a scale from 100 to 500 ml. According to its listing, it can spray at an angle and upside down, which helps reach awkward positions. Its adjustable nozzle offers mist or jet spraying.
The Toolland pressure sprayer holds 1.5 litres. The Tukan model offers 5 litres, an adjustable nozzle and a shoulder strap. Choose the container size for the intended job and allow space for filling, storage and cleaning.
Consider the fertiliser mixer separately
The Birchmeier Aquamix 1.25 V also listed here adds liquid fertiliser through a water supply connection. It works differently from a hand sprayer holding a premixed solution. It offers 0.2, 0.5, 1 and 2 percent settings, plus a neutral position without added fertiliser. Select the concentration according to the product used and its instructions.
For each liquid, check the approved uses of both the device and the product. The term “pressure sprayer” does not establish universal suitability for every cleaning or plant protection product.
