Reflectors: compare width, lamp fittings and duct connections
A reflector directs light from a lamp towards the growing area. Size is only part of the choice: it must suit the lamp and fit the space available for hanging it. Allow room for suspension, cables and, where required, ventilation ducts as well as the area beneath the reflector.
Fixed or adjustable shape?
The Stukko reflector has a fixed footprint of 47 × 38 cm and an E40 fitting. The supplied spacers let you set the Pearlpro XL to widths of 57, 60 or 63 cm. The Azerwing midi has an adjustable width and a lamp holder that can be raised, lowered and tilted. These adjustments help you adapt the arrangement to your area; you still need to check light distribution and the permitted lamp clearance.
Match a Cooltube to your ventilation
The Cooltubes have connection diameters of 125 or 200 mm; both are 400 mm long. Match the connection to your ventilation system and allow extra room for duct bends. A Cooltube needs suitable airflow to carry heat away through the connected ventilation.
Before buying, check the approved lamp type and wattage, fitting, connection and supplied components. The reflector, lamp and ballast must work together as a system; an E40 fitting alone does not confirm compatibility.

Azerwing Midi (Adjust-a-Wing)

Cooltube 125mm - Reflector
Cooltube 125mm in diameter with a length of 400mm with reflector. The Cooltube has an internal reflector and 2 small external reflectors that are mounted like wings with the suspension collar. 30% less heat development due to integration into the ventilation system. The Cooltube is particularly suitable for small and flat rooms, as the lamp can be positioned closer to the plant tips. The air should be pushed through the Cooltube (not sucked), so the heat generated by the light source can be transported directly out of the room. To remove more heat from the room, there is also the option to leave the old exhaust system as is and add a separate lamp cooling system. For the separate lamp cooling, it is best if the air is drawn from outside and directed back outside after passing through the lamps. If everything is sealed properly, no activated carbon filter is needed for the second system because the air never comes into contact with the room air.

With separate lamp cooling, it is best to draw air in from outside and discharge it directly outside again after it passes the lamps.
