Choose EC fans by the control setup you need
Adjustable extraction lets you adapt fan output to demand. With the PrimaKlima EC models offered here, the control setup matters as much as the connection diameter: do you want to set temperature and speed on the fan itself, or operate it from a separate controller?
EC-TC or ECblue?
EC-TC models have integrated temperature and speed control. The PK250 ECblue uses an RJ45 interface for compatible external control, for example with the ECTC-1M-Digital. Both 250 versions are rated at a maximum of 1450 m³/h, but their controls differ. Compare the full model designation and supplied components if you want to use an existing controller.
Whisperblower models offer another housing design within the PrimaKlima range. Allow for their body dimensions and compare airflow and noise figures under the same operating conditions. EC technology alone guarantees neither a particular noise level nor fixed power consumption at every speed setting.
Consider the complete system
Match the intended airflow to your filter and duct route. The fan must also deliver sufficient airflow against their resistance. Check that control cables and accessories are approved for your model. The product list also includes cables, controllers and a CAN Max Fan 250; category placement alone does not confirm every item’s motor type or compatibility.
