Expert LEDs: choose the functions you actually need
This selection ranges from the compact 80 W Greenception GC-PURE to large DimLux Xtreme models. Start with the area you want to illuminate and the space available for the light and suspension. Higher power does not replace a suitable shape or even light distribution.
A simple switch or more detailed controls?
The GC-PURE uses an on/off switch and is not dimmable. The GCx-4 PWR instead provides separate control of its growth and bloom channels, with an external-control option. For DimLux, the series, revision and precise NIR version matter. Check which functions are available directly and which require an additional controller or sensor.
Compare performance figures on the same basis
The value in µmol/J describes photon efficacy, while µmol/s indicates emitted photon flux. Compare figures measured over the same spectral range. Light distribution and measurement distance also matter for your growing area. Check weight, suspension and included components: two models with the same wattage can still differ substantially.
