CO2
CO₂ bags: choose Original or XXL with clear expectations
Plants use carbon dioxide for photosynthesis. The CO₂ bags listed here release it into the surrounding air. What matters when choosing is what you expect the product to do: a passive bag does not provide adjustable dosing or maintain a set CO₂ reading.
How do the two versions differ?
CO2 Bag Original and Original XXL are offered with different stated coverage areas and service lives. These figures are guides, not a guarantee of a particular concentration in the room. The effect on the surroundings also depends on air exchange and operating conditions. The XXL name alone therefore tells you little about whether that version suits your intended use.
Clarify your requirements before buying
If you need a controlled CO₂ supply, measurement and regulation are separate tasks; they are not part of these bags. Check the selected version's storage and usage instructions before opening it. Additional CO₂ release does not replace suitable ventilation and should not be equated with a blanket promise of faster growth or greater yields.

CO2 Bag - Original
CO2 Bag OriginalThe CO2Bag is a very small bag that produces carbon dioxide for your plants. It can multiply your plants’ growth rate and help fruit ripen faster, improving flavour, colour and plants. The CO2Bag is safe to use, easy to set up and requires no maintenance. It is the smallest and by far the most effective solution available on the market. What is carbon dioxide?Like oxygen for humans, carbon dioxide is one of the most important components of plant growth. All plants need carbon dioxide to grow. If a plant cannot absorb enough carbon dioxide from the air, it grows more slowly. The CO2Bag is a powerful and simple way to bring more carbon dioxide into your grow room without spending too much money. When and where should it be used?Get the CO2Bag 2–3 weeks after planting your seeds. Make 6 holes in the top of the bag and hang it above your plants. In large grow rooms, hang the bag above the aisles. The CO2Bag only produces carbon dioxide at temperatures above 18 ºC (64 ºF). Store the sealed bag in a dry, cool place below 18 ºC (64 ºF).How long does the bag last? When the CO2Bag comes into contact with oxygen, it starts producing carbon dioxide. However, it may take a few days for production to begin. Depending on air circulation in the grow room, one CO2Bag will produce enough carbon dioxide for an area of 5 m2 (50 ft2) for 1–3 months.Package contents1x CO2 Bag Original
CO2 Bag - Original, XXL
The CO2 Bag Original XXL releases carbon dioxide into the air in enclosed growing areas. Plants use CO₂ for photosynthesis; an insufficient supply can limit growth.Application:Start using the bag 2–3 weeks after sowing.Pierce six holes in the top of the bag.Hang the bag above the plants; in large greenhouses, preferably above the aisles.CO₂ production starts only at temperatures above 18 °C and may take a few days to begin.Growing notes:With additional CO₂, plants can tolerate temperatures around 3–5 °C higher. Their demand for water, nutrients and light also increases. These factors must be supplied adequately to make effective use of the additional CO₂.Storage:Store the sealed bag below 18 °C in a cool, dry place. CO₂ production begins once the contents come into contact with oxygen.Features:Version: Original XXLSuitable area: Up to 6 m²Service life: Approximately 2–4 months, depending on ventilationActivation temperature: Above 18 °CNumber of openings: 6Scope of delivery:1 × CO2 Bag Original XXL
