Rooting products for the early plant stages
This category includes Plagron NextGen Rooting Gel, ROOT!T Rooting Gel and ROOT!T First Feed. They support different parts of propagation: rooting gel is used when preparing cuttings or establishing contact with the growing medium, while First Feed is a starter nutrient solution. Choose according to the specific purpose and the plant’s stage of development. A gel does not replace appropriately measured nutrition, and a starter feed does not automatically serve the same function as a rooting gel.
Match the application to the growing medium
Follow the individual manufacturer’s instructions for use, quantities and storage. Different gels are not necessarily applied in the same way. Check whether the propagation medium already contains nutrients and what additional feeding is appropriate for the current stage. Avoid combining several products without compatible instructions.
Prepare the cutting tools, container and growing medium before working with the cuttings. Clean measuring accessories help with small quantities. Suitable moisture, light and temperature remain as relevant as the selected product. A rooting aid does not guarantee a fixed rooting time or replace regular observation. Compare container size and the precise product name so that you select a gel or starter solution suited to your needs.
