Rhino Pro: understand the filter dimensions
For a Rhino Pro, a size such as 125 × 300 mm describes the connection diameter and filter length. It does not describe the outside diameter of the body. This matters when fitting the filter between the frame, light and ventilation opening.
Choose the version for your system
The range includes Rhino Pro sizes of 125 × 300, 160 × 500 and 250 × 600 mm. The 125 model has a 30 cm filter body; the 250 model has a 60 cm body. Allow additional space for the flange, fan connection and suspension. Check the weight of the particular model and the permitted load of its mounting points.
The 125 × 300 version is rated at a maximum of 500 m³/h, and the 250 × 600 version at 1420 m³/h. Choose according to your system’s intended airflow and the filter’s operating limits. A larger connection does not replace this comparison.
Keep the prefilter accessible
The outer prefilter sleeve catches dust before air reaches the carbon bed. Position the filter so that you can reach the sleeve for maintenance. Follow the model’s cleaning instructions and humidity limits. The condition of the sleeve and the condition of the carbon need to be assessed separately.
