Pack cuttings and small potted plants to fit
Transporting young plants calls for support around the roots and enough space for the foliage. This category offers shipping boxes for several cuttings and individual packs for plants in small pots. The selection includes boxes with five, six or twelve positions, plus packaging for 7 × 7 × 8 cm and 9 × 9 × 10 cm pot formats.
Check root-ball size and plant height together
The number of positions does not determine suitability on its own. Compare the root-ball diameter and height with the shaped recesses. Cutting boxes have different permitted foliage heights; the six-position model is designed for taller plants. The stem opening must also fit without trapping the plant when you close the pack.
Measure your plants together with their pots or root balls before choosing. Check the closure method too: depending on the design, packs use snap fasteners or staples. The shaped pack is only one part of the transport arrangement; plan a suitable outer carton and protection against movement. Avoid pressure on leaves and shoot tips. Check the selected variant’s internal and external dimensions, alongside the conditions and expected duration of the journey.
