Measure water, nutrient solutions and growing media
The right instrument measures the values you need in the place you need them. This range includes dedicated pH and EC meters, combination devices from Aqua Master Tools and HM Digital, and a liquid pH test from Terra Aquatica. pH indicates acidity, while EC measures electrical conductivity and helps assess dissolved salts. Together they support routine checks without identifying individual nutrients.
Handheld meter, monitor or substrate probe?
The Combo Pen P110 Pro is intended for liquids. The E300 Pro measures EC and temperature directly in growing media. HydroMaster models differ in their application, power supply and sensors. Compare the measuring location, required parameters and working routine before choosing a device. A colour test provides an approximate pH check, but does not measure EC.
Include accessories in your choice
Check the measuring range, resolution, stated accuracy and required calibration solutions. A replacement probe must match the exact model, and battery types are not interchangeable simply because they look similar. Follow the sensor instructions for cleaning and storage, and calibrate as specified by the manufacturer. When comparing results, also record the measurement method and temperature. This helps separate a real change from a difference in how the reading was taken.
