Dimlux Xtreme Series 1050W LED + NIR MKII

The new Xtreme MKII features a patented negative-ion and cold-plasma generator designed to reduce bacteria, mould and viruses.

An extremely strong stream of negative ions is generated and emitted by the ion electrodes. These electrically charged negative ions in the air attach to pathogens. Once connected, the particles become too heavy to remain airborne and fall to the ground. Positive ions can also be generated; together with negative ions, they bind to pathogens and destroy them through the released energy. The ratio of negative to positive ions can be selected according to the pathogen to be neutralised.

Ions have a very short lifespan of only a few seconds. They therefore need to be generated as close to the plants as possible. As the ion electrodes are positioned near the plants and each unit covers its own area, the ions reach the plants at full strength.

The ion electrodes produce no detectable ozone and remain well below the OSHA standard.

The Dimlux Xtreme Series LED generates high PPFD values over an area of 1.5 × 1.5 m with a full grow spectrum. The fixture can be dimmed without loss of efficiency and programmed for different times of day and growth stages.

RGB LEDs

The RGB LEDs serve as additional lighting and as a green work light during the dark phase. They are activated automatically by an integrated motion sensor.
