The ECO-Jilter filter box with 42 pieces is the compact pack for anyone who rolls regularly and wants a plastic-free filter solution. According to the manufacturer, ECO-Jilter was developed to minimise environmental impact: it is made entirely of paper, contains no plastic and is therefore 100% biodegradable. The cardboard box contains approximately 42 ECO-Jilter filters. ECO-Jilter is a rolling-filter insert without activated carbon. It is used together with a cardboard filter tip and rolled in as the mouthpiece, forming a compact unit. Its purpose is to reduce pollutants without unnecessarily affecting draw or flavour while keeping the familiar rolling routine largely unchanged. According to the manufacturer, ECO-Jilter was launched in summer 2022 as a paper-based alternative.
To use it, roll a filter tip as usual and insert it into the Jilter, then roll the unit in neatly with the cardboard serving as the mouthpiece. The manufacturer also describes practical everyday effects: less tobacco residue around the mouth and reduced tartar and tooth discolouration. ECO-Jilter is made in Switzerland. The packaging follows the same approach: according to the manufacturer, the cardboard box is made from 100% plant waste, while inks are used as sparingly as possible and are free from toxins. Once empty, the box belongs in cardboard recycling; the manufacturer states that the ecological footprint of this material is even better than that of recycled cardboard. Used filters must be disposed of with household waste so that residues produced during smoking do not enter the environment. Manufacturer's note: Jilter does not protect against THC or CBD.
