Eazy Plug is a unique growing medium suitable for all types of seeds and cuttings. It enables trouble-free propagation of plants, flowers and herbs.

The organic materials that make up the medium ensure an optimal air-to-water ratio, allowing roots to develop quickly and vigorously. The medium retains its solid shape so that plants can be transplanted easily.

pH and EC values

Under normal conditions, Eazy Plug maintains its predefined and regulated pH value (acidity) of 5.8, even when water or nutrients with different pH values are added. This makes Eazy Plug less affected by user errors or equipment malfunctions. The EC value of Eazy Plug (1.0) also remains consistently stable.

Air-to-water ratio

It is practically impossible to overwater Eazy Plug. This is because Eazy Plug has the ability to release excess water and always maintains an optimal water-to-air ratio for the roots. It is therefore very important that the medium is not in direct contact with water and that excess water can drain away.

Eazy Plug absorbs a great deal of moisture, even more than loose soil. This reduces the possibility of plants receiving too little water. The constant moisture level ensures that plants can be grown in less time and are less affected by mistakes.

More robust plants

Since Eazy Plug regulates the properties of the water as well as pH and EC values, control is considerably easier. Plants grown in Eazy Plug are of high quality and, if desired, transplanting can be postponed.

During the generative phase, the dry matter content of the plant can be increased by supplying less water. This makes the plant stronger and more robust, resulting in increased flower formation.

Base fertilisation

Eazy Plug contains the base fertiliser for the first 2–3 weeks, which are vital for plant development. After that, you can supply the plants with nutrients yourself. However, you can also add nutrients and fertilisers right from the start.

Feeding or supplying fertiliser does not differ from the method used, for example, when growing in rock wool or soil. However, plant development shows major differences. Among other things, the possibility of fertilisation errors is considerably lower than when growing in rock wool or soil because pH and EC values are regulated automatically.

Compatibility with rock wool

The composition and structure of Eazy Plug allow it to be placed on or in rock wool without difficulty. The roots grow easily from the Eazy Plug into the rock wool and the moisture level is maintained.

Firm consistency

Eazy Plug always retains its firm consistency. The risk of damaging roots during grading, transplanting or replanting is therefore minimal. As plants take root quickly, the occurrence of diseases is drastically reduced.

Dry condition

Eazy Plug is delivered dry and is therefore clean and aerated. It is stored only for a short time and there is no risk of mould developing. Dry Eazy Plug absorbs water easily and quickly. It immediately regains its original properties.

Compostable

Eazy Plug consists mainly of organic substances and is fully compostable. It is therefore easy to dispose of after use and can even be used to improve the soil.
