Greenception - GC-PURE 80W, 2.7 µmol/J incl. UV and Far-Red LEDs

The Greenception GC-PURE 80W is a compact, square LED grow light for indoor setups where uncomplicated and efficient full-spectrum lighting is required. It avoids unnecessary extras while retaining the decisive spectrum upgrade. Greenception equips the GC-PURE with a full spectrum extended by UV light and far-red, covering 365 to 780 nm. This UV and far-red component is an important advantage for many indoor growers. The manufacturer lists higher active-compound and terpene levels, controllable stretch and significantly increased photosynthesis rates among the central benefits of the extended spectrum. The GC-PURE therefore covers both vegetative growth and flowering while remaining deliberately plug-and-play: suspend it, switch it on and let it run.

Technically, the GC-PURE 80W is designed for efficient and practical everyday operation. A power consumption of 80 W, an efficiency of 2.7 µmol/J and a PPF of 216 µmol/s provide strong light output with moderate electricity consumption. Passive thermal management keeps the system silent at 0 dB, while the IP65 rating adds robustness in a typical grow environment. The light is operated using an integrated toggle switch and is not dimmable, ensuring a consistent light output and very simple handling. It uses an IEC C14 connection and, according to the manufacturer, operates across a wide input-voltage range of 100–277 V. Important when working with UV light: never look directly into the switched-on lamp and protect your eyes and skin appropriately.

For setups with higher power requirements and modular expansion, the next larger stages in the PWR range are the Greenception GCx-4 PWR 160W and the Greenception GCx-9 PWR 360W.
