The Greenception GCx-4 PWR 160W is a compact LED grow light for square indoor areas and was designed to cover the entire plant cycle – including UV and far-red components in the so-called Extended Spectrum. Exactly this addition is a real selling point for many growers: In addition to the "normal" full spectrum, you get additional spectral components that Greenception explicitly links to a higher photosynthetic rate as well as higher active ingredient and terpene contents. The efficiency is 2.95 µmol/J, the photon flux at 472 µmol/s – thus the lamp is clearly situated in the "expert" range without becoming unnecessarily complicated. With a maximum power consumption of 160W, it is interesting for setups where clean illumination and reproducible results on typical square dimensions are required (e.g., up to 80 × 80 cm, depending on the setup). Practical: The GCx-4 PWR separates the growth and bloom spectrum into two channels, so you can adjust the light intensity in both areas separately, instead of going "all or nothing".

In everyday life, this means: You control the lamp via 4 dimming levels on the device (rotary knob/toggle switch concept) and can call up the power in growth mode up to 80W and in bloom mode up to 160W. If you want to work even more precisely, you can use external control via the GC-SIGNAL controller (then dimming in 1% steps is possible). When it comes to mounting, Greenception has also clearly focused on practice: The X PWR series is tailored to standard square tent sizes, and with the Smart Install® system, various hanging situations are possible – including the option to mount the system in a space-saving way. Electrically, the lamp is broadly positioned (100–277 V AC) and can therefore be operated without any problems at 230V. The design deliberately remains compact (40 × 40 × 11 cm), which simplifies planning and positioning in the tent. Operating note: UV components are part of the spectrum – therefore, as with any grow LED, do not look directly into switched-on LEDs and configure the lighting so that plants and workflows fit together cleanly.

With an efficiency of 2.95 µmol/J and a photon flux of 472 µmol/s, the lamp clearly belongs in the expert class without becoming unnecessarily complicated. Its maximum power consumption of 160W makes it suitable for setups that require uniform illumination and repeatable results on typical square areas, such as up to 80 × 80 cm depending on the setup. A practical feature is the separation of the vegetative and flowering spectra into two channels, allowing the light intensity in both ranges to be adjusted independently instead of using an all-or-nothing setting.

In everyday use, the lamp is controlled in four dimming stages directly on the unit using its rotary control and toggle-switch concept.
