The ebb-and-flow method, also known as EBB&GROW®, irrigates from below: The substrate is flooded with nutrient solution. When the pump switches off, the solution drains back into the reservoir. This regular rise and fall ensures an optimal oxygen supply in the root zone.

Timer:

The ebb-and-flow method requires a timer to regulate the irrigation cycle. The timer is not included. For irrigation periods shorter than 15 minutes, use a digital timer with minute-by-minute programming.
