EC fan accessories: match the control to the fan
When a fan hangs high inside a tent, a separately positioned controller can be easier to reach. The PrimaKlima ECTC-1M-Digital provides two channels and settings for temperature, minimum speed and maximum speed, with automatic or manual operation. The PK250-ECblue is among the models listed as compatible by the manufacturer.
Check the model before choosing a cable
Compare the exact fan model with the controller’s compatibility list. Neither the label “EC” nor a matching RJ45 socket alone confirms compatibility. If your fan already has integrated temperature control, first check whether an additional external controller is supported.
RJ45 cables are available here in 2, 5 and 10 metre lengths. Measure the actual route to an accessible control position, including the path along the tent frame. A little spare length avoids pulling on the plugs. Also check which cables are already supplied with your equipment.
What the Y-adapter cannot replace
The RJ45 splitter offered here is a passive adapter. It does not automatically add independently controlled channels to a controller. Use it with multiple fans only if the manufacturers explicitly support that connection arrangement.
