The Osram fluorescent lamp starter is suitable for all T5, T8 and T12 fluorescent tubes and is used in single-lamp circuits. The product can only be operated in combination with a conventional ballast. Its use can increase the service life of the tubes by an average of 25%. The ST111 starter can be used for fluorescent tubes rated 4–65 W. The ideal ambient temperatures for the Osram starter range from -20 to +80 degrees Celsius.
